A Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys Tour Might Still Happen
Say you’ll be there Spice Girls, because a reunion with the Backstreet Boys would be larger than life.
Okay, ’90s song puns aside, this boy band versus girl group tour is what we really, really want!! (Sorry, last one).
Buzz about a BSB and Spice Girls tour has been circulating since 1997, but that doesn’t mean we’re going to stop dreaming. Just three years ago, Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell made the earth stop when he told The Sun, “We are actually in early talks about maybe doing a world tour together with the Spice Girls.” Obviously, that tour didn’t happen. Because if it did, we’d all still be talking about it today.
But let’s not give up just yet. OG boyband heartthrob, Nick Carter, told US Weekly that a Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls tour could still be on the table. “We’re always open to doing a tour with them. I think it would be an epic tour,” Carter revealed.
And there’s another new connection adding fuel to the fire. Carter is a judge on ABC’s summer music competition show Boy Band, alongside Spice Girl alum Emma Bunton (a.k.a Baby Spice). The duo of blonde bombshells go all the way back to the ’90s, and it seems the two have discussed the possibility of a joint tour.
“We’ve had conversations,” Nick told the magazine. “I’ve had conversations with Scary Spice and Emma, and we’ve talked about it.”

Here’s hoping that 2 becomes 1 sometime soon, and that these icons quit playing games with our hearts.
