Afternoon beauty fix: Is your dry winter skin not playing nice with bronzer?

All of a sudden my routine dusting of bronzer is looking rather fake. Is there a better way to warm up my complexion?
The challenge with bronzer is that you want it to make your skin look sun-kissed, but in the middle of a month like March it’s unlikely that you have a natural glow to complement the faux. At the same time, if your skin is dry and dehydrated, powder bronzer can stand out by settling itself atop flakes and cracks. I find that a more natural, happy medium can be found by blending a few drops of liquid bronzer into another product that’s part of to your regular skincare routine. I like Colour Glow by Quebec-based Laboratoire Dr Renaud ($30, ldrenaud.com). It’s a highly pigmented bronze concentration that easily blends with your own foundation or moisturizer and is designed to suit a wide range of skin tones. And rather than matching your bronzer to the season, this one self-adjusts to match your skin year-round!
