Aldo teams up with the VFILES cool kids on this year’s HIV/AIDS friendship bracelet
As fashion’s fight against AIDS/HIV rages on, Aldo has released the latest edition of its annual #friendsfight friendship bracelet benefiting the cause. Having previously collaborated with designers like House of Waris, Aldo has upped this year’s It factor, partnering with New York’s cool kid store VFILES on four neon styles. Retailing at just $5 each, proceeds of the lanyard-style trinkets will go to Partners in Health, a non-profit organization rethinking global health.
Coinciding with the launch, Aldo and VFILES have launched a series of videos profiling besties within the VFILES crew talking about everything from Larry David to The Maury Show.
The bracelets will hit stores on February 9, a few days prior to the now-seasonal VFILES New York Fashion Week kick off, which debuts the next group of ones to watch. Amongst those selected for this year’s show are Julia Seeman, Ximon Lee, Andrea Jiapei Li and my own personal favourites, Sydney-based Discount Universe.
