American Music Awards 2015: The 11 best red carpet looks of the night
If there were any questions whether Jennifer Lopez has what it takes to be a performer, let’s just say they went out the window after last night’s American Music Awards. The multi-talented artist and this year’s AMAs host, who underwent a total of 10 wardrobe changes, validated her skills during her opener, which not only consisted of her belting out her ’90s hit “Waiting For Tonight” but also an epic dance medley to the 2015’s greatest hits. There were also many incredible performances by Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas and The Weeknd (a big winner of the night), as well as a few somber ones, with Jared Leto and Celine Dion paying tribute to the Paris Attacks. Adding a little water works to his performance, Justin Bieber closed out the show with a medley of his latest hits. Hey, why not?
Both Gwen Stefani and Ciara showed off their bods in sheer black dresses, while Kylie Jenner worked a chain-embellished leather number. Hailee Steinfeld and Zendaya chose to display their legs in a romper and a mini dress, respectively. But judging from our Instagram feeds, all camera lenses were on Selena Gomez who glitzed up the night in a backless red Givenchy dress. The beauty game also deserved a worthy nod. Models of the moment Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner took advantage of the buzzy event to debut some new hairstyles with Hadid stepping out in a faux bob and Jenner in wispy bangs.
