Anna rubs elbows with commoners, hipsters dance around in Marc by Marc and Al Roker has designs on you
Electro-pop trio Chairlift have teamed up with Marc by Marc Jacobs in association with saks.com for the Fall 2009 collection in a video series featuring the band as Brooklyn hipsters-turned-models. [@knotpr] The September Issue opened this weekend in New York, grossing $240,078 in a mere six theatres and making it the fifth-best documentary debut in history. Scott Schuman aka The Sartorialist has snapped a trend-abiding homeless man. Whether or not the man in question is aware of how stylish his colour coordinations are remains unclear, but Schumann writes, “This shot isn’t about fashion — but about someone who hasn’t lost his need to communicate and express himself through style.” [The Sartorialist]
Al Roker is reportedly creating a line of inclement-weather gear for Weatherproof, who has featured the Today Show personality in past ad campaigns. We just hope the TV spots make proper use of “It’s Raining Men.” [WWD]
A photo of Jimmy Choo’s upcoming thigh-high boots for H&M has been leaked. The line is set to launch November 14 and will also include bags, accessories and women’s apparel. [The Cut]
