Apple Releases a Limited-Edition Red iPhone 7
Apple fans, this one’s for you. The tech giant recently announced a number of exciting new updates and products, and the world is buzzing with excitement. From a new iPad (at a lower price!) to a cool new video-editing app to spring-ready Apple Watch wristbands, it’s almost like it’s Christmas all over again (emphasis on almost because winter needs to be over now).
While the aforementioned new gadgets are worthy of a trip to the Apple store, it’s the Product(Red) limited-edition iPhone 7 and iPhone 7+ that got our hearts palpitating. Available in two models, 128GB and 256GB, the smartphone comes in a snazzy new colour (move over, rose gold), and consumers will get the opportunity to contribute to the worthy HIV/Aids cause by purchasing the phone. Given that Apple is the world’s largest contributor to Global Funds and a longtime partner of (Red)’s HIV/Aids program, we’re not too surprised to hear about the latest product launch. For starters, the tech company has launched many (Red)-themed products in the past including headphones, iPods and phone accessories. However, seeing that the iPhone 7’s initial launch was so successful (and still no word of the rumoured iPhone 8), we have a feeling many people cannot wait to get their hands on this special-edition red iPhone.
Starting at $1,029, the Product(Red) iPhone will be available for customers to purchase for a limited time only, so if you’ve got your eyes on this model, we suggest you mark your calendars. Because comes Friday, March 24th, you’re going to want to run to your nearest Apple store (or Apple.com).
