This holiday season, Aritzia is teaming up with Vancouver-based  Cause We Care Foundation to launch the Full of Heart campaign. To kick-start the venture, a number of editorials will be presented (via Aritzia’s online magazine) featuring young and emerging female talent, that will not only seek to empower young women, but also raise money for the charity. With the help of the Canadian retailer, the foundation will be building the YWCA Cause We Care House—a safe, subsidized housing complex for single women and their children in the city.

From the likes of Brooklyn alt-R&B group, Denitia and Sene, to India Salvor Menuez, founder of Lucky You (a creative organization that runs art shows, zine work shops and more) and The Walking Dead’s Emily Kinney, donations will be made on behalf of the talent to support the Cause We Care Foundation. Most notably, the campaign will feature Petra Collins, the 21-year-old photographer most known for her controversial American Apparel menstruation T-shirt. Ironically enough, the Toronto-born photographer actually had her start in the fashion industry working for Artizia in the retail sector when she was just fifteen years old.

You can also get involved this holiday season by turning to Instagram and uploading a photo of the women who you are #fullofheart for. For each shout out made, Aritzia will donate a brick towards the building of the YWCA Cause We Care House. For more information visit causewecare.org.
