(Yes, that’s right: dead. Skin. Flakes.) While it’s probably a no brainer that you should clean your makeup brushes on a regular basis, it can be tricky to do it properly without damaging the bristles. Fear not! Here’s what you’ll need:
Makeup brushes (we used EF Studio‘s Essential Brush Set, $75, ebeauty.ca)
Baby shampoo, such as Aveeno Baby Essential Moisture shampoo ($7, well.ca )
Sponge
Dish soap, such as Palmolive dish soap ($4, well.ca)
Antibacterial brush spray (we used Sephora Collection Daily Brush Cleaner, $14, sephora.com)
Paper towel
Rubbing alcohol
