Bella Hadid Lands Fendi Campaign
Bella Hadid had a pretty successful year in 2016 (Dior makeup contract, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and a Chrome Hearts clothing collaboration, to name a few highlights), and she’s showing no signs of slowing down in 2017.
Case in point? The 20-year-old model’s first campaign of the year with Italian fashion house, Fendi.
Hadid shared the Karl Lagerfeld-photographed image on Instagram Monday, calling the campaign a “dream come true to start off the new year.” The photo sees Bella sporting a muted brocade floral dress, oversized square sunnies, playful pink and beige ankle socks and minimal makeup— a far cry from the glittery lips she wore for Fendi’s spring/summer 2017 runway show.
And according to Fashionista, Fendi’s spring/summer 2017 campaign will be somewhat of a family affair, with Bella’s older sister, Gigi Hadid, co-starring, along with up-and-coming model, Vittoria Ceretti.
“For the Fendi Spring/Summer 2017 advertising campaign, I have chosen the models of the moment, shot in different rooms,” Lagerfeld said in a release. “For the set I took inspiration from the mood of the clothes and at the same time the places people had left, the rooms filled in the past by their voices, while the future is represented by the presence of the girls.”
We can’t wait to see the rest of the images!
