Boobyball 2017: Toronto Gets Physical for the Annual Fundraising Bash

Toronto got transported back to the ’80s on Friday for the 16th annual Boobyball in support of Rethink Breast Cancer and it was like, totally rad.

Held at REBEL Toronto, the “Get Physical”-themed bash saw dudes and dudettes from the 6ix shaking, strutting and shimmying in their best ’80s garb all in the name of breast health, including actresses Amanda Brugel, Tara Spencer-Nairn and Tori Webster, musician Karl Wolf and television personalities Chloe Wilde and Cabbie Richards. And believe us when we say the ensembles were gnarly — think neon brights, spandex and lycra, shoulder pads and scrunchies galore and a ton of blue eyeshadow.

In keeping with the theme, Boobyball’s lead sponsor, TOPSHOP, gave guests the opportunity to sweat for a good cause. For every 50m cycled on their retro ’80s bike, TOPSHOP donated an additional $1 to Rethink. Other icy activations included hair touch-ups and mini manis by Her Majesty’s Pleasure, an oxygen bar by Medreleaf and tasty treats from Sweet Jesus.

Since the inaugural Boobyball in 2002, the bash has raised over $4.2 million for Rethink Breast Cancer, with this year’s Toronto event raising more than $185,000.
