Holiday Hair Tutorial: Braided Updo
1. Section off your hair as though you’re putting it into a half updo. Starting with the top portion, brush your hair back into a loose ponytail and braid your hair. Secure the end with a small elastic.
2. Now braid the second, bottom section of hair, allowing the braid to gather at the nape of your neck. If the top braid gets in the way, just clip it to the side. Secure the end of the bottom braid with an elastic.
3. Pin the bottom braid to the back of your head: Start by folding it in thirds, keeping the ends tucked inside, and position it under the top braid.
4. Now repeat the same fold with the top braid, but do so on top of the bottom braid. Make sure any loose ends are tucked inside and pin it into place. Voilà! You’ve mastered the braided updo.
