Busy weekend for Kate Middleton: She debuts new items from Erdem, Emilia Wickstead and… Gap?

It was a very busy weekend for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge—but busy is always welcome for those of us obsessed with the royals, especially when you consider that Kate Middleton had 5 outfit changes! We have photos of every single look in our massive Kate Middleton style gallery, but here’s a rundown of what the royals got up to in New Zealand.
On Saturday, the Cambridges went to Cambridge! The couple toured the town and met with locals who lined the streets. Kate debuted a new coat by Erdem—a bright green, knee-length coat with front zip from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection. She paired it with a floral print tea dress by Suzannah, though only the hemline was visible. Knowing Kate, we’ll likely see this dress in full at some point in the future. Since when doesn’t she wear an item more than once?
Sort of case in point: Sunday’s outfit choice, a teal coat dress from New Zealand designer Emilia Wickstead. If it looks familiar, that’s because Kate wore a pale-pink version two days in a row, back in 2012. The teal coat was a lovely choice for Sunday’s itinerary, which included attending the Palm Sunday service at the Cathedral of St. Paul in Dunedin. The couple is spending two days in the city, leaving Prince George back in Wellington with his nanny—which, fair enough, there’s quite a lot of royal goings-on occuring! Sunday’s schedule included an afternoon spent coaching children’s rugby, for which Kate changed into a casual outfit, which included a mint and cream-coloured sweater from Jonathan Saunders, her Zara skinny jeans and cute Mint Velvet plimsolls, which we kinda need to buy a pair of asap.
Post rugby match, the couple was rewarded with a wine tasting at Amisfield Vinyard, followed by a whitewater rafting trip. (See what we said: BUSY!) Kate changed once again, swapping out the Jonathan Saunders sweater for a blue gingham button-down shirt from Gap and the double-breasted Zara blazer she wore earlier in the week. (Also, don’t worry, she didn’t wear her Stuart Weitzman wedges on the boat; the plimsolls were slipped back on!)
Finally, today Will and Kate were in Christchurch, in part to support the post-earthquake restoration efforts. Kate wore a red skirtsuit by Luisa Spagnoli, which she actually last wore back in 2011 when signing a guestbook of condolences for those impacted by the earthquake. Seriously, somewhere in Kensington Palace Kate Middleton has an elaborate ledger that tracks every outfit connection and oh, what we wouldn’t do to get our hands on that ledger!
