Butterfly Ball 2017: 22 Stylish Photos from This Year’s Fundraising Event
Last night, Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre, an organization to help eliminate abuse and violence in the lives of children, youth and their families, celebrated its 20th anniversary of the Butterfly Ball at Toronto’s Four Seasons Hotel. Hosted by eTalk’s Ben Mulroney, the gala raised a whopping $850,000 for the charity.
Guests were not only treated to an entertaining flamenco performance by Carmen Romero but also the night’s auction, which kept everyone on the edge of their seats, thanks to Christie Canada’s auctioneer Brett Sherlock. The items on offer included a dinner with The Right Honourable Prime Minister Brian Mulroney and his wife, Mila, in their Montreal home; a trip to New York Fashion Week; VIP passes to the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Georgia; an original piece of art by Canadian contemporary artist Charles Pachter; and a $200 gift card from David’s.
The event also hosted a Vanity Fair-inspired photo shoot, courtesy of George Pimentel’s Studio. Sponsored by Saks Fifth Avenue, Toronto’s most fashionable guests, including Sylvia Mantella, Jessica Mulroney and Suzanne Rogers, got Oscar-worthy portrait photos done. Flip through the gallery to see the most stylish shots from the night.
