With the rise of the online resale market, Canadian ecommerce site Trend Trunk has gone one step further making buying another form of social networking by connecting buyers and sellers through its marketplace of fashionable closets. This week, the site is holding their first ever Blogger Fashion Week, which runs through December 15, 2013.
A weeklong showcase of some of the country’s top bloggers (including plenty of Style Panel folk) is currently taking place online and gives members a chance to shop their outfit-making wares. Each day, Blogger Fashion Week will unlock 10 new shoppable closets. The hope is to inspire members to connect with each other to discover new brands and designers while reducing their fashion footprint.
To sweeten the deal, many of the featured bloggers are donating up to 100% of the proceeds to their favourite non-profit or charity thanks to Trend Trunks Closets & Causes Program. With the holidays just around the corner, Blogger Fashion Week seems like the perfect way to indulge ourselves in a piece of clothing or accessory with a story and a good cause behind it.
To help save you some time, we’ve pulled some of our favourite pieces from various blogger closets.
