Celebrities React to Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl Halftime Performance
ICYMI, Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl halftime performance gave the football game a run for its money.
The singer started the show on the stadium’s retractable rooftop. A wave of red, white and blue drones flew above her as she sang God Bless America and This Land is Your Land – a unifying statement.
“One nation, under God, indivisible. With liberty and justice for all,” she recited.
And with that, she was off (literally – she jumped off the roof).
Gaga’s solo performance wowed the audience with what many have called the best halftime show in the history of the Super Bowl. The Born This Way singer was upbeat, OTT and acrobatic. And she didn’t stop.

The 30-year-old belted out her hit tracks including Edge of Glory, Poker Face, Telephone, Million Reasons and Born This Way. She had three costume changes and promoted love and positivity throughout with her lyrics.
She sang, “Don’t be a drag, just be a queen, whether you’re broke or evergreen. You’re black, white, beige, chola descent, you’re Lebanese, you’re orient. Whether life’s disabilities, left you outcast, bullied, or teased, rejoice and love yourself today ’cause baby you were born this way.”
The singer ended the show with a bang. She sang her hit song Bad Romance, gave her parents a sweet shout-out and left with a theatrical mic drop.

Amidst the hype of the show, celebrities and fans were freaking out via social media. It was clear from online reactions that Gaga had stolen the show (and maybe every show for the next couple of years).
Gaga took to Instagram to thank her fans for always sticking by her.
Celebrities including Chris Pratt, Katy Perry, Hayley Williams, Chrissy Teigen and even Hillary Clinton turned to social media to react.
Dancing hard. Singing live. Ends it catching a football! I always liked #Gaga. Now I love her. Sorry not sorry. That was freakin' awesome.
