Charlotte Cardin Gets a Bathroom Makeover Before Heading to Chanel’s Métiers d’Arts Show in New York
Even if you’re naturally beautiful—and lean toward a minimal makeup look—you have to switch things up when you’re heading to an international fashion spectacle. After touring the New York City harbour—and surviving just a wee bit of seasickness—singer/songwriter Charlotte Cardin returned to her hotel room in time for a bathroom beauty session with Chanel’s makeup/hair artist Julie Cusson. Our Winter covergirl was in the city to attend her second Métiers d’Arts show with Chanel. This year’s show, which was held at the ancient Temple of Dendur at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, was inspired by Egypt. We were inspired by Charlotte’s latest video, which she shot on an iPhoneX so we asked her and our EIC Noreen Flanagan to take some videos of their day in NYC before the show. Aside from her fave Chanel lip balm (Hydra Beauty Nutrition – Nourishing Lip Care) find out what other thing Charlotte never leaves the house without.
