Chrissy Teigen Reminds Us Once Again To Love Our Stretch Marks
It’s safe to say Chrissy Teigen is one of the most relatable celebs out there.
Case in point? A photo the 31-year-old model drunkenly tweeted out Wednesday evening, proudly showing off her stretch marks.

“Whatevs,” the mother of Luna Stephens captioned the pic, before sending out another tweet saying, “When I drink wine I say ‘whatevs’ and sober Chrissy doesn’t like it.”

Fans were quick to praise the Lip Sync Battle co-host for being “real as f*ck” and for reminding everyone that imperfection is beauty.
@chrissyteigen you're real as fuck. thanks for reminding everyone that not everyone is 100% flawless (even tho you are and stuff)

@chrissyteigen THANK YOU. Normalizing things like stretch marks and cellulite in the public eye is so so important. Thank you.

The next day, however, Teigen took to the social media platform yet again to clarify that while she loves her stretch marks, she doesn’t share them for approval.
“I do not post stretchies for praise. I post it because the wine also I like the pattern and they’re so soft.”

This isn’t the first time Chrissy has shared her stretchies with the world. Back in 2015, she posted a pic of her legs with bruises and marks in full view.
“I was actually just taking a picture of the bruises and then I saw the stretch marks in there,” she later said during an interview on The Meredith Vieira Show. “I have those apps, the Facetune and Photoshopping ones, and I just didn’t feel like doing it anymore—and I’m never doing it again, because I think we forgot what normal people look like now.”
Seriously, could we love her any more?
