Cressida Bonas dances her way through Mulberry’s new digital project
Ever since she was linked to Prince Harry in 2012, Cressida Bonas has been on our radar. While she may not have ended up a royal in the end, the British actress and dancer proves she can old her own—with or without a royal by her side. Likely just as enchanted by her carefree spirit and her impeccable boho-chic style as we are, Mulberry has tapped the It Brit girl for its newest digital project “From England With Love…”
Working with a team of creative British talents (production designer Michael Howells, choreographer Martin Joyce and director Ivana Bobic), this is the first in a series of Mulberry Digital stories that showcases not only the gifted artists in all facets of the art industry (fashion, film, theatre, design), but also serves up a side of digital technology.
Inspired by both traditional and contemporary British gardens located in Somerset (FYI that’s where the designer brand’s factory is located), the video was shot in an abandoned 18th century London courthouse and transformed into a beautiful wonderland with a green grass carpet leading up to an ethereal Mulberry tree at the top of a staircase. It starts off with the sounds of birds chirping until a curious Bonas kicks off her sandals, and viewers are then taken on a tour through the old building and secret garden, ending with Bonas finding her Bayswater bag at the end of a mirrored room. Dressed in a maxi lace Mulberry Buttercup dress from the Spring 2015 collection, the whole thing makes us want to get up and just join her. Then again, it is Friday. #TGIF
