If you’re not burned out on films and documentaries, post-TIFF–and can swing a last-minute trip to Paris–A Shaded View On Fashion Film, the world’s first annual fashion, style and beauty film festival, will be kicking off at the Centre Georges Pompidou on September 24.
Presented by Diane Pernet, the fashion critic behind the blog A Shaded View On Fashion, the three-day film fest will feature an eclectic mix of movies including Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing, a 7-minute short film by Bruce Weber, Interval by Jamie Isaia, which includes pieces from Hussein Chalayan’s Spring 2009 collection, and Valentino: Masters of Style by former Fashion File producer, and FASHION contributor, Madeleine Czigler.
Burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese will be sitting on the jury, along with Vogue Italia senior fashion editor Sara Maino and fashion historian and director of the Musée Galliera Olivier Saillard.
