Drybar is Launching a Dry Shampoo Foam
When celeb hairstylist Jen Atkin launched her Ouai Dry Shampoo Foam earlier this year, she made waves in the beauty world for her game-changing formula (the first of its kind, FYI). But now, Drybar (a.k.a. one of the OG blowout salon chains) is launching its own version of a dry shampoo mousse called Detox Whipped Dry Shampoo Foam.
The product was unveiled during Coachella, which allowed Drybar to capitalize on the attendance of celebrities and influencers in order to introduce its newest formula. It’s said to be an evolution of the brand’s popular Detox dry shampoo and is best for drier scalps, as well as coarse, thick and colour-treated hair. Those with oilier scalps are advised to use the original Detox dry shampoo, as the foam formula is much lighter.
So how do you use it? Simply rub in a dollop of foam onto your hands before applying to dry hair (it can be used not only on the scalp, but also on the rest of your strands to add volume). Continue rubbing it in until the foam disappears and voila! Refreshed hair, sans washing.
Drybar Detox Whipped Dry Shampoo Foam is currently available at Sephora for $30.
