Gigi Hadid teams up with Stuart Weitzman for second shoe collaboration
Following her highly successful thigh-high boot collaboration with Stuart Weitzman, Gigi Hadid is teaming up with the footwear brand once again for a second collection. This time around, Hadid created two styles of shearling-lined pointy-toed flat mules — the Eyelove (available in nude and indigo suede) and Eyelovemore (available in frosted suede), both of which feature evil eye motifs to “to protect those who wear it from negative energies.” They’ll retail from $498 to $598 with proceeds again benefitting Pencils of Promise in support of building three schools across Ghana, Guatemala and Laos. Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show models reportedly being denied Chinese visas
The 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is only days away, but according to online fan accounts, four models have reportedly been denied the required Chinese visas to walk the show (or you know, to enter the country). The models who may no longer be walking are Julia Belyakova, Kate Grigorieva and Irina Sharipova from Russia and Dasha Khlystun from Ukraine (Instagram user @VSModelSpain posted a screenshot of a convo with Khylstun where she confirms she will not be walking). Mindy Kaling stars in Tory Burch holiday vid
‘Tis the season for re-gifting, at least if you’re Mindy Kaling. The Mindy Project star has teamed up with Tory Burch to create a very Mindy-esque video just in time for the holidays. In the one-minute clip, Kaling receives a giant box of gifts from Burch, but decides to regift them to her friends and fam to save time on shopping. Hey Mindy, we’ll take the silver sneakers, please. Condé Nast Italia launches Social Academy to train influencers
Want to really up your social media and content creation game? Just head to Condé Nast Italia’s new Social Academy in Milan. The six-month course, created in partnership with L’Oréal Luxe Italia, will allow 20 female students to learn social media practices and digital influencer marketing from a faculty of Condé Nast employees, Milan SDA Bocconi School of Management instructors and guest lecturers for free.
