Beyoncé is launching her first fragrance. Heat comes out at the end of January, inspired by all the pyrotechnics a Beyoncé concert demands. “A lot of my performances have had fire involved, so we thought ‘Heat,’” the singer told WWD. Suffice to say, the ads will be steamy. [WWD]
Pataugas is teaming up with Jean Paul Gaultier to design three pairs of shoes for summer 2010. Gaultier’s collection is inspired by Breton sailors and will feature sporty footwear for men and women. Charlize Theron is collaborating with Toms Shoes on a limited-edition design. Sales from the shoes will benefit her non-profit that gives money to health care, education and social development of high schools in her native South Africa. Theron will also donate 10,000 pairs to poverty-stricken children in the country. “It’s exciting that we’re able to come together in such a cool and creative way to bring attention to the needs of many South African youth,” said the actress.
