Russian Vogue has devoted their April 2010 issue entirely to newly-minted Russian resident Naomi Campbell. The model was also guest editor. Says editor Aliona Doletskaya: “I wanted to debunk a few myths surrounding Naomi.  When I suggested the concept, she immediately came and for an hour and a half laid out stories, photography, interviews and other sections. Clearly, quickly, and in a businesslike manner.”[Fashionologie]

Christian Louboutin is the star of the show in “Dancer in a Daydream” which includes a peek into his Paris studio and is capped with the man himself showing off his dance moves in glittery red-soled jazz shoes. [Stylelist]

Alexander McQueen‘s brand revealed today that the designer was creating a men’s underwear line that will launch in June. The boxers and briefs bear the signature skull print as well as feather prints inspired by his final menswear collection. [Vogue UK]

Alberta Ferretti has joined the digital world, launching an online store (as many designers have in recent years) that truly gives you bang for your buck. The designer will seek out the most loyal customers to the site and become friends with them, providing styling advice, offering design previews and proposing looks that she feels suit the customer.

Nanette Lepore is extending her talents into a swimwear collection, footwear and a handbag line, with the latter hitting stores this fall. Lepore, a strong advocate of “Save the Garment Center” is keeping production of the new initiatives in New York. [WWD]
