Fekkai Hair Fragrance Mists are finally in Canada, so your locks can smell like your favourite dessert
After months of lusting after the Fekkai Hair Fragrance Mist collection, it’s finally available in Canada, and we are seriously obsessed with each one. The line features three scents: Crème Vanillée, Rose Fraîche and Citron en Menthe (a subtle, dessert-y vanilla, a fruity-floral scent reminiscent of rosewater syrup, and a crisp lemon-mint, respectively), and in a rare, blue moon happening — we love them all equally.
We didn’t exactly have high hopes for the Citron en Menthe in particular (sorry but would you rather we lie?) because lemon-mint happens to be the worst gum flavour of all time, and we assumed the Fekkai mist would smell like that gum tastes. Well, you can let out a sigh of relief because it certainly did not. It actually smells more like a mojito.
The scents (which retail for $25-$28 each) are all light enough that they won’t compete with your everyday perfume, but they’re definitely still noticeable. Hair holds scent longer than any other part of your body, so there’s no need to worry about it fading throughout the day. The Fekkai Hair Fragrance Mist collection also calms frizz and tames flyaways, thanks to the main ingredient, cyclopentasiloxane, a type of silicone that’s great for smoothing down locks.
“The way a woman’s hair looks is something she shares with the world,” said Frédéric Fekkai via press release. “The way it smells is something she shares only with those closest to her.” Needless to say, your Valentine’s Day hair plans are covered.
