From Stitch to Screen Event Brings Together Canadian Film and Fashion
Last night, Toronto’s film and fashion elite gathered to celebrate the first-ever “From Stitch to Screen” event. Hosted by The Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards and The Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, the evening brought together two of Canada’s greatest sectors to offer a unique space for introduction, inspiration and collaboration. We talked, we drank and we danced together as we gathered to commemorate and support Canada’s film, television and fashion talent.
Check out our live video coverage of the event over on Facebook, where we talk to The Handmaid’s Tale actress Amanda Brugel, The Handmaid’s Tale costume designer Ane Crabtree and a few of our favourite Canadian fashion designers. The night was, in Lucian Matis‘ wise words, “a wonderful celebration of two industries coming together in a perfect merge.”
