Future and The Weeknd Shoot New Music Video on TTC
What would you do if you spotted two of the biggest artists taking the TTC? Well, Future and The Weeknd have us wondering, thanks to their latest music video collab.
Teaming up once again (they’ve collaborated on Future’s “Low Life” in 2015 and The Weeknd’s “All I Know” in 2016) for Future’s single “Comin’ Out Strong,” it looks like the music video’s inspo may or may not have something to do with Abel Tesfaye’s love for his hometown, Toronto. (He isn’t only showing Selena Gomez the great parts of #the6ix.) Both artists teased fans with a few stills from the music video on their Instagrams, and obviously Torontonians were quick to call out the mode of transportation.
But in case you were trying to figure out which particular station it was, don’t drive yourself crazy looking. The upcoming music video was filmed in the abandoned Lower Bay Station, which is a fave spot to shoot films and TV shows.
While the teaser shots don’t reveal much about the storyline, one thing is for sure: It’s hauntingly beautiful. From the editorial-worthy clothing choices (hello, gorgeous Gucci Spring 2017 coat) to the faceless passengers to the eerie platform atmosphere, this music video is going on our list of must-sees.
There’s still no word on when the “Comin Out Strong” music video will drop, but you can bet we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more #TO sightings.
