Golden Globes 2015: Who wore the white cutouts trend best on the red carpet?
See the complete Golden Globes 2015 red carpet »
As we mentioned in last night’s coverage, the Golden Globes red carpet was so well trend-ified, it read like an edited roundup before us editors even weighed in. From the shimmering silver gowns to a red sea of taffeta, 2015’s celebrity messages have been quite clearly set.
Sexy white cutouts was the first of the night’s standout trends. Gone Girl star and nominee Rosamund Pike showed off her freakishly impressive post-baby body (she gave birth last month, WTF) in a white custom Vera Wang hand-draped silk tulle gown which featured a completely exposed back and thin lingerie straps. Her sex appeal was matched by Kate Hudson who was also guns blazing with the bodycon in a white custom Atelier Versace gown accented with Swarovski crystal beading on the waist. The most covered up of the bunch (if you can even say that) was Emily Blunt, who spun the trend as a Grecian goddess in Michael Kors.
