Grammys 2016: The 15 best-dressed celebrities on the red carpet
Although there was some disappointment last night (read: Rihanna was a no-show), the 50th annual Grammys did not fail to serve up a serious red carpet.
The biggest night in music industry was not only a stage for many stars to pay tribute to some of the greatest musicians of all time (Lionel Richie and Michael Jackson), but it also presented an opp for a couple of fashion risk-takers to show off their love for David Bowie. While fashion and beauty chameleon Zendaya rocked a mullet (and DIY makeup!) in a sleek black suit by DSquared, Lady Gaga channelled the late icon (red hair, glitter makeup and all) in a custom Marc Jacobs look.
Clearly Valentine’s Day was still on A-listers’ minds with a few of them donning romantic holiday hues. While Florence Welch worked an elaborately embroidered Gucci gown, Ariana Grande stepped out in a red strapless ensemble by Romona Keveza. But naturally, all eyes were on Grammy-award winning songstress, Taylor Swift. Not only did she show off a new Anna Wintour-inspired bob, but she also gave off some serious Bianca Stratford from 10 Things I Hate About You Vibes in her favoured stomach-baring-meets-leggy look, courtesy of Atelier Versace.
Speaking of legs, it was pretty obvious that it was the erogenous zone to show off with stars like Demi Lovato, Ciara and Bella Hadid working some serious slits.
From Selena Gomez’s sparkly Calvin Klein look to Kaley Cuoco’s glittery jumpsuit, flip through the gallery to see the 15 best-dressed celebrities who left a serious impression on the Grammys 2016 red carpet.
