Gucci Launches An Epic New Home Décor Collection

Want your home to look as cool as your closet? One word: Gucci

The luxury Italian house has just announced the launch of its debut home collection, Gucci Décor. Cue happy dance…

This eclectic collection of interior items brings Gucci’s modern romanticism into the home. Considering that the brand’s creative director Alessandro Michele is all about personalizing/customizing the label’s ready-to-wear pieces by applying decorative details, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the latest launch follows suit. Striking patterns! Bright colours! Flora inspo! Michele’s runway designs have morphed into home décor must-haves—and we can’t decide which piece we love the most!

There are tasseled cushions decorated with house motifs like roses, snakes and tigers, printed metal trays, brightly coloured folding tables, wooden high-back chairs with lacquered frames, an upholstered chair in a bright floral jacquard and decorative folding screens (the latter is like a Gucci store window that has come to life in your living room).

The porcelain pieces, produced by Richard Ginori (a renowned Florentine company founded in 1735) include patterned crockery, scented candle holders and incense holders, and many of these items are splashed with Gucci’s signature motifs like “eye” designs, Herbarium floral prints, bees and butterflies. Four scents, for both candles and incense, are also part of this drool-worthy line-up.

You can also make the ultimate statement and Guccify your walls (!!) with one of the quirky cool premium wallpapers (in silk, vinyl or paper) inspired by Michele’s take on the famous Gucci Flora design.

The home décor collection will be available starting this September (the countdown is on) in Gucci flagship stores, selected specialty stores and on gucci.com. But you can see the epic range of items right now…
