Another day, another Instagram hair trend. First there was galaxy hair, then there were glitter roots. And most recently, the internet brought us hair gems. But as we’ve all come to know (and secretly love), there’s no such thing as too many hair trends to follow and obsess over. The look du jour? Hair stencilling.
What is #hairstencil, you ask? It’s a trend made popular by hairstylist and artist Janine Ker who uses stencils to paint literal works of art on her clients’ hair. While Ker uses actual dye on her clients, you can DIY the look in time for festival season using stencils and coloured hairspray.
