Thankfully, Markle and Harry have shared their wedding registry with the public. “Prince Harry & Ms. Meghan Markle are incredibly grateful for the goodwill they have received since their engagement,” Kensington Palace tweeted out to the fans, “& have asked that anyone who might wish to mark the occasion of their wedding considers giving to charity, instead of sending a gift.”

CHIVA Projects

It’s CHIVA Projects’ goal to ensure every child with HIV has the support they need to live a fulfilling, healthy life free of stigma and discrimination. “The charity helps to create a more hopeful and optimistic future for them,” the Palace wrote. “ensuring they achieve their greatest potential.”

Crisis

“Crisis helps people directly out of homelessness,” the Palace wrote, “working side by side with thousands of people each year to help them rebuild their lives and leave homelessness behind for good.”

Myna Mahila Foundation

Myna Mahila Foundation seeks to empower the young women by providing them to access to low-cost sanitary pads. Markle visited the Mumbai charity last January, and later wrote a piece on menstrual hygiene stigma for Time Magazine: “From sub-Saharan Africa to India, Iran, and several other countries, the stigma surrounding menstruation and lack of access to proper sanitation directly inhibit young women from pursuing an education,” she wrote in the piece.

Scotty’s Little Soldiers

Scotty’s Little Soldiers “offers vital support and activities to children who have lost a parent while serving in the British Armed Forces, helping them to smile again.”

Ultra-athletic Prince Harry knows that sports have the ability to create change in disadvantaged communities. Per the Palace, StreetGames “uses sport to empower young people to kick-start a cycle of positive change in their own lives.”
