Step 1:
First prep hair with a volume mousse/spray at the roots, and setting lotion at the ends. Blow dry the hair giving it plenty of root lift.

Step 2:
Spray the hair with medium hold brushable hair spray generously, then finger comb the hair backwards to give it a looser look.
Divide the hair into a half ponytail just above the occipital bone, and secure into place with an elastic band.
Spray the underneath hair with hairspray, and finger comb to achieve a more textured look.

Step 3:
Begin your fishtail braid by holding the pony tail in two sections. Start by taking a small section from the section and crossing over top, adding it to the second section. Then do the same on the opposite side.

Step 4:
Continue to take a small section from one side and cross it over to the opposite section.
Continue down the pony tail until you run out of hair. Secure with a small clear elastic.

Step 5:
Once the braid is secured, loosen the shape by gently tugging on sections to create some flyaways and texture. Use a tail comb to loosen the hair around the head by placing the tail end in the hair and gently pulling out.
