Honey bunches of soaps
When the little box of Honey Dipp (honeydipp.com) samples arrived on my desk, the scent was so addictive, I couldn’t keep my nose from sneaking little sniffs every two seconds or so. The line of spa products has all the delicious usual suspects–a sugar scrub, citrus body butter and vanilla spice and coconut lime body lotions, for starters—but the real standout is the soaps.
Dubbed Honey Buns ($16, available on their site), the huge slabs of moisturizing soap come literally embedded with a natural sea sponge, which is great for exfoliating. But the smell, the smell’s the thing. The soaps have been sitting in a box on my desk, patiently waiting, wafting, while I was busy with Fashion Week. Each time a co-worker passed, she would stop, inhale and then engage me in a debate over which fragrance—Fresh Papaya, citrusy Island Burst and the floral Shea Mango—was the best. I’m going with the Jolly Rancher-esque Fresh Papaya, which has been more or less attached to my nose while I was writing this post.
