It looks like Sarah Jessica Parker is bringing a little bit of her Carrie Bradshaw style to Glee
To be perfectly honest, we kind of fell off the Glee wagon last season, mostly because Lea Michele’s character started to get just a tad too annoying. But after Ryan Murphy revealed earlier this month that none other than Sarah Jessica Parker would be guest starring on the show for its fourth season, we’re definitely back on board.
What’s more, SJP’s sometimes politico-collaborator and pal Anna Wintour has offered her fashion expertise as a stylist for the character of Isabelle, the Vogue online editor that Parker is portraying. From the looks of the backstage picture Murphy snapped of Chris Colfer (who plays Kurt) with Parker, Wintour brought her A-game.
Fashionista managed to ID Parker’s outfit, and so far it seems like the look’s a mix of new labels and established fashion houses (a balancing act Wintour has always been particularly fond of). Parker is wearing a stunning art deco-inspired Lanvin necklace and a dress from up-and-coming label Faster Than Paris, which was featured in Vogue’s September issue. The label was created by Tracy L. Cox, who worked with Parker’s old stylist Patricia Field on Sex and the City. Wintour finished off the look with Fendi-offspring Delfina Delettrez’s detaille necklace, worn as a bracelet.
Will you be tuning in to Glee this fall, and what’s your take on this Wintour-styled look?
