After a few steady appearances of new pieces, Kate Middleton was back to old favourites for her two latest royal appearances. Yesterday, the Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to Blessed Sacrament School in London to meet with program coordinators of Place2Be’s (the leading UK provider of school-based mental health support) Moving Parents and Children Together program, as well as greet and chat with many of the young students. For the event, Kate cleverly recycled a coral-pink Goat dress, worn recently underneath a red wool Jonathan Saunders coat. It was refreshing to see the Duchess opt for a different colour palette this time around, with her last few appearances all being shades of blue. Going for a similar look to her Scotland visit (sans coat, of course), she complemented the coral dress with a pair of nude pumps by Jimmy Choo and carried a woven straw clutch by L.K. Bennett. In the jewellery department, she kept it rather simple with her classic Cartier watch and an oldie but goodie: a pair of sterling silver effervescence bubble stiletto earrings by Links of London.
After this morning’s family field trip to the The Butterfly Exhibit at the National History Museum, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent some time together at Wimbledon, along with Middleton’s parents, to enjoy the rest of day. Although she did miss last year’s tournament (she was expecting Prince George), Kate was back in the Royal Box with Prince William to cheer on British’s number one tennis player and defending Wimbledon men’s champion Andy Murray. Keeping to tennis traditions, the Duchess opted for a piece from her closet, which which we last saw her wear in Sydney. She teamed the ivory white eyelet dress by Zimmermann with a pair of neutral-coloured heels by L.K. Bennett and added a pop of colour with a beaded red and gold fan clutch by Anya Hindmarch and a red scarf we hear is most likely by Hugo Boss. She completed her outfit with elegant-looking Annoushka pearl earrings and Cartier watch.
