Kate Middleton and Prince William showed up on Day 2 of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland and once again, we see her Royal Highness attending today’s events in an outfit that is seriously giving us some serious deja vu.
Prior to watching the athletics together, the royal couple momentarily split off to attend separate receptions hosted by charitable organizations they are patrons for. While the princes visited young aspiring coaches of the Coach Core program at the Gorbals Leisure Centre, Kate attended a small mentoring session for 15 of the top British athletes hosted by SportsAid, an organization that supports and helps the young gen British athletes. If you recall, the Duchess has previously showed her support back in October when she made her first appearance since the birth of Prince George where she elegantly played a game of volleyball in her casual wear uniform.
For today’s appearance, she strategically matched the organization’s t-shirts wearing a Fall 2012 Stella McCartney blue crepe dress. She covered up with another navy blazer from her collection, but this time she showed some love for our nation sporting a Canadian fave: Smythe. If this particular looks familiar, it’s because it is. The Duchess recycled the exact same outfit she wore when she watched tennis star Andy Murray compete at the London 2012 Olympic games. Opting for yesterday’s accessories (ICYMI: a pair of Stuart Weitzman cork wedges and a Russell and Bromley clutch), she did switch things ups subtly with a watch by Cartier, drop earrings by Kiki McDonough and a charm pendant necklace by Asprey. Judging from the past two days, Kate Middleton is the person to look to when packing for a trip. Our fave Royal probably keeps the same two outfits in her carry on at all times.
