Kate Middleton Gives the Cutest Response to What It’s Like to Be a Princess

Another week, another Kate Middleton appearance. After making a rare but powerful public-speaking appearance at the Heads Together campaign event last week, the Duchess of Cambridge visited one of her many patronages, East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices in Norfolk. Back in 2014, Kate helped launch an important initiative called the Nook Appeal, which is a space for specialist care and support for children as well as face-to-face therapeutic support for family members in need.
After receiving a very warm welcome from the children and their families (as per usual), Kate toured the facilities and posed for pictures before taking part in a little art-therapy session with the kids, which involved paint and lots and lots of glitter. During the activity time, Kate also answered adorable questions from curious children, including “What’s it like to be a princess?” Her response? “I’m very well looked after by my husband.” Cue the awws.
For this event, the Duchess debuted a new outfit. According to The Telegraph, her latest green Hobbs London skirt suit was actually purchased a year ago to avoid the Copy-Kate effect. So if you’re a Kate Middleton fan, it looks like it’s going to be hard to get this beautiful green matching set for yourself—it’s already sold out. Kate teamed her look with a white Gerard Darel blouse, black Gianvito Rossi pumps, a Mulberry clutch and Kiki McDonough drop earrings.
