Kate Middleton Just Gave Us All a Lesson in Low-Key Zoom Call Elegance
As we all now near the end of our fourth week in quarantine, it’s possible that our initial excitement for dressing up for our daily Zoom calls has somewhat waned (case in point: I’m writing this whilst wearing an all-black tracksuit). But the Duchess of Cambridge has proven the wonders of a bright sweater and a gold earring in a newly released video of her and Prince William Zoom calling a primary school.
Looking like a literal ray of sunshine, Kate sported a bright yellow jumper from Zara and gold earrings from Zoraida London (which she has worn on a number of occasions preciously). She chose to style her hair in a relaxed half-up, half-down style that perfectly complemented the overall ease of the look.
The sunny hue radiated a message of warmth and positivity – no doubt a deliberate move on Kate’s behalf during this time.
The pair were calling staff and children at the Casterton Primary Academy, which is close to the Burnley General Hospital meaning that a high percentage of the school’s children have parents who are essential workers. During the call, Kate addressed the teachers saying, “Well done to you and everyone who’s in during this time. It must be such a relief for all the parents, who are key workers, to know that the normality is there for their children – they’ve got the structure and they’ve got a safe place for them to be. So really, really well done and for all of you I know it’s not easy circumstances, but it’s fantastic.”
