You would think Kate Middleton would take it easy on the princess duties with the royal family’s upcoming Canadian tour in three weeks. But nope. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge kicked off September with a mini two-day tour in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, marking their first visit to South West England since their wedding. Earlier this morning, Prince William and Kate toured the town and greeted the Cornwall folks who gathered outside Truro Cathedral. They also took the time to visit and explore the facilities at the Truro-based youth centre run by Young People Cornwall, which is an organization that the royal duo holds dear to their hearts. They ended off the day meeting local businesses including the Healey’s Cornish Cyder Farm where Kate even got behind the bar to pour a pint for her hubby because apparently she would “fall over if [she drank] that.” Who knew Kate couldn’t hold her liquor?
Debuting another new dress, Kate wore a millennial pink, fit-and-flare dress by Lela Rose for today’s excursio (psst, we hear it’s on sale right now on lelarose.com) and paired it with Monsoon wedges and an L.K. Bennett clutch. Though she kept her hair down today, she accessorized with her Kiki McDonough pink morganite cushion drop diamond earrings and her trusty Cartier watch.
Don’t forget to come back tomorrow to see what our fave royal is up to next.
