Kate Middleton Wears Cult-Favourite Fashion Label The Vampire’s Wife on Royal Tour of Ireland
The royal tour of Ireland is officially underway with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spending three days in the country. Yesterday, Kate leaned into the country’s national colour of green by donning a Catherine Walker coat and top and skirt from Alessandra Rich for her first appearance. She then switched into another green piece – this time from cult favourite fashion label The Vampire’s Wife.
It’s perhaps the future queen’s most fashion-forward look yet, particularly given that she usually opts for mass brands or well-known designer labels for her appearances. The shimmering emerald green midi (called the Falconetti) features ruffle detailing at the elbows and a ruffled hem and is a key style in the brand’s line-up. It is currently available for pre-order on the brand’s website with delivery scheduled from March 20.
Having launched in 2014, the brand has since become the go-to for some of Hollywood’s coolest names. Margot Robbie, Sienna Miller, Dakota Johnson, Alexa Chung, Leighton Meester and more have worn pieces from the brand in the past. The Vampire’s Wife is the brainchild of former model Susie Cave, who is also the wife of rocker Nick Cave.
