Kate Middleton wears pink Alexander McQueen for her last appearance before going on maternity leave

Is this the last time we’ll see the Duchess of Cambridge before the royal baby is born? While last week’s cruise ship christening was Kate Middleton’s final solo appearance, Saturday’s Trooping the Colour parade is said to be her last royal engagement before going on maternity leave.
The parade, which is the official celebration of the Queen’s birthday, brought together many members of the royal family for an elaborate display of the royal guards. Prince William rode in on a horse, while Kate was seated in a carriage with Prince Harry and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall. Wisely, Kate chose to wear a wide-brimmed Jane Corbett hat to keep the sun off her face, and the pale-pink colour was a perfect match to her custom Alexander McQueen coat. (Pregnant Kate Middleton really loves her coats!) The pale-pink coat featured a large, almost Peter Pan-shaped collar and pearl buttons, which complemented the Annoushka pearl earrings Kate was also wearing. And keeping with the Alexander McQueen theme, Kate carried a clutch by the designer, a possibly-new purchase which she debuted earlier in the month.
