Kate Middleton wears recycled Michael Kors to open Hampton Court’s Magic Garden

We would totally understand if Kate Middleton wanted to crack open a bottle of wine and just chill. The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of non-stop work and social engagements for the Duchess of Cambridge. From the Royal tour to India and Bhutan (with hubby Prince William) to Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday to Princess Charlotte’s 1st birthday, to celebrating her 5th anniversary as a Mrs., we’ve been loving the flurry of fabulous fashion. As always, K Mid’s look is polished perfection.
For the opening of historic Hampton Court Palace’s new children’s play area in the Magic Garden in West London, the Duchess wore a favourite piece from her closet: a Michael Kors Spring 2014 swing coat. (She originally wore it on the final day of the royal tour of Australia in 2014.) She paired it with a light blue/grey Roksanda Illincic dress (also recycled; she first wore this look on a royal tour to Los Angeles in 2011), earrings and a matching necklace by Mappin & Webb, her signature Cartier Ballon Bleu watch and an L.K. Bennett clutch and heels. During her tour of the historic gardens (King Henry VIII’s former stomping grounds) Middleton chatted with children, and reportedly revealed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte have a hamster named Marvin (Mahhh-vin). All hail HRH Marvin the Hamster.
