Kenneth Cole Opens Flagship Store in Downtown Toronto
Kenneth Cole, the New York designer who started his business selling shoes out of the back of a trailer in 1982, has opening a flagship store in downtown Toronto. Located at 315 Queen Street West, the store is in Toronto’s unofficial “flagship district,” with the flagships of lululemon, Adidas originals, and Dr Martens positioned close by. The 1,800 square foot store will sell men’s and women’s footwear, clothing and accessories.
“For 35 years, Kenneth Cole has defined the standard for New York style and social consciousness,” Marc Schneider, Kenneth Cole Productions Inc.’s Chief Executive Officer said in a statement. “As we continue to focus strategically on our retail business, we are excited to bring this modern lifestyle brand to the Canadian consumer through our own flagship location in the heart of Toronto.”
Welcome to the neighbourhood!
