Kylie Jenner is Now Producing Hand Sanitizer for Hospitals
Kylie Jenner is continuing to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic, with the announcement today that she and mom Kris Jenner have teamed up with Coty to produce hand sanitizer for hospitals in southern California.
According to ABC News, Coty announced that the hand sanitizers it produces with Kylie and Kris “will be donated to the emergency and healthcare workers caring for patients on the front lines of the current COVID-19 .” Coty bought a majority stake in Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin for $600 million in November of last year.
Each of the Coty-Jenner produced hand sanitizers will also be delivered with a note reading, “Dedicated to first responders working to support our communities.”
The news comes after it was revealed last week that Kylie donated $1 million to medical workers in California to help provide them with adequate personal protective equipment. The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan has also been active on her Instagram account, encouraging her fans to stay inside and heed government warnings. “Coronavirus is a real thing. Please stay inside, practice social distancing, self quarantine,” she told fans. “If you live with your parents, you don’t want to go home and get your parents sick. You might have it and not even know and be affecting other people. It’s serious and the only way to slow this down is if we do this, because there’s not a cure right now.”
Elsewhere in the Jenner-Kardashian empire, Kim Kardashian West is also contributing to COVID-19 relief by donating $1 million to affected families under her shapewear brand SKIMS.
