While Montreal’s Osheaga music festival attracted many of Canada’s flower crown lovers, our friends south of the border were celebrating hippie style (…and music) at Lollapalooza in Chicago. Our favourite indie princess and former cover girl Lana Del Rey was amongst the weekend’s performers and looking her retro-styled best.
For her Friday night performance, Del Rey wore a red midi-length dress with bell sleeves and floral applique, which she paired with a thin daisy headband. The look has become standard fare for summer music festivals, especially so, when done by the queen of the sixties remix. DNAInfo Chicago paid special attention, citing Lana Del Rey style as the most quintessential of the festival. Atta girl!
