Les Parfums Louis Vuitton Pop-Up Lands At Yorkdale Mall
Everyday, the staff of Louis Vuitton at Toronto’s Yorkdale Mall check to make sure the recently opened fragrance pop-up is structurally sound. The reason for their concern: it’s constructed entirely of paper tube fragrance packaging containers, 2996 to be exact. But given that the pop-up has already traveled from Las Vegas, Miami and Houston, it’s safe to say it’s in good shape. And though most guests won’t be able to see this, an aerial view of the 10 foot high structure would reveal that it’s also shaped like a flower.
Inside, shoppers can explore the seven scents created by in-house perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud that launched back in 2016, including the best-selling Rose des Vents. The center unit has 181 bottles and lights up at night, and there’s a stack of LV trunks, with the top one propped open to reveal the scents nestled in fresh flowers which are changed every few days by a local florist. Engraving is offered for up to three initials or numbers and a calligrapher will be on site for Valentine’s Day.
Originally slated to stay until March 15th, it’s been extended until the 18th to welcome the 8th scent, Jour Se Lève.
