Levi’s and Net-a-Porter have released a capsule collection of the classic 501 jeans you love
With denim dominating the Spring 2015 runways (and Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney’s FourFiveSeconds music video), we’d be lying if we said we weren’t counting down the days until spring, when jeans become a serious wardrobe staple. But if you’re on the hunt for a new pair, look no further, because Net-A-Porter and Levi’s have joined forces to create a capsule collection of Levi’s cult fave 501 jeans.
A beloved style by all, Net-A-Porter tapped Levi’s to create three customized and tapered versions (and in three different washes) for its customers because who hasn’t taken customizing their jeans into their own hands (usually to less-than-great results)? Well, those days are over, because Levi’s head designer Jonathan Cheung says, “We’ve done that work for you.”
Aside from the fact that they are sewn and finished in San Francisco (see the making of the 501 CTs here), each pair also features a handwritten series number on the inside pocket and an exclusive branded swing tag. And with each pair taking 72 hours to create, the $380 retail price isn’t too surprising. So if you’re a sucker for collector’s item (who isn’t?), then these are the jeans for you.
Head on over to Net-A-Porter.com to add these limited-edition Levi’s 501 CT jeans to your ever-expanding denim collection.
