Louis Vuitton Debuts New Collab with Jeff Koons: 20 Pictures From the Party at the Louvre Museum

The people behind Louis Vuitton are masters at collaboration. Fresh off a recent partnership with Supreme, the luxury brand unveiled a new collab with New York artist Jeff Koons, which features some of history’s greatest masterpieces by way of the Masters x Louis Vuitton x Jeff Koons handbag and accessories collection. And as I’m sure you’d expect, the launch party was to die for.

Some of Hollywood’s biggest stars mingled with Mona Lisa, in Paris inside the fabled Louvre Museum, where Vuitton also held their Fall 2017 show. The A-list attendees included: Cate Blanchett, Miranda Kerr, Michelle Williams and Jennifer Connelly. Bloggers Chiara Ferragni and Aimee Song were also were amongst the stylish attendees.

The collection features reproductions of Jeff Koons’s 2015 exhibition “Gazing Ball.” For the original exhibit Koons reproduced iconic works from Old Masters; Da Vinci, Titian, Rubens, Fragonard and Van Gogh.  This collaboration involved the transfer of those works onto coveted Louis Vuitton bags, clutches and purses. And apparently there will be further rollouts as the year unfolds.
