Beyonce and Amal Clooney aren’t the only superstars breaking the Internet with twin news! Madonna let fans know via Instagram that she has officially adopted four-year-old Estere and Stelle from Malawi and is “overjoyed” that the twin sisters are joining her family of five. The 58-year-old singer, who has been trying to adopt for the past two years, is no stranger to the tiring process. She previously adopted David Banda and Mercy James from Milawi, who are both now 11. She is also mom to Lourdes, 20, and Rocco, 16, from previous relationships.
Madonna isn’t the only celeb who has turned to adoption to help complete her family. Wannabe parents look all over the world for babies to raise as their own, and Hollywood is no different. Here’s a round up of 10 other celebrity moms who have adopted.
Angelina Jolie
The mother of six revealed to the Associated Press that she “never wanted to have a baby” and that it wasn’t until she visited Cambodia that it was “suddenly very clear that [her] son was in the country, somewhere.” Jolie adopted Maddox, 15, from Cambodia in 2001, Pax, 13, from Vietnam in 2003 and Zahara, 12, from Ethiopia in 2005. The philanthropist also has three biological children with Brad Pitt.
Charlize Theron
Charlize Theron adopted her first child, Jackson, 5, from her home country of South Africa in 2012. In 2015, the Mad Max: Fury Road actress brought home a daughter, August, who is now 2. Theron, a single mom, has said: “I always knew I would adopt. Always.”
Viola Davis
Viola Davis and her husband Julius Tennon adopted their first child together, 6-year-old Genesis, back in 2011.
Sandra Bullock
After a grueling four years of paperwork, Sandra Bullock took home her first child, six-year-old Louis, in 2010. In 2015 the actress added a daughter, four-year-old Laila, to her growing family.
Meg Ryan
Meg Ryan’s son, Jack, was already a teenager when the actress decided to adopt a baby girl, Daisy True, now 11, from China. Ryan said: “I am convinced, completely convinced, that there was nothing random about [the adoption]. She is the daughter I should have.”

Denis Richards has two daughters with ex-husband Charlie Sheen and adopted Eloise Joni, now 5, as a single parent in 2011.
Katherine Heigl
Having grown up with an adopted sister from South Korea, Heigl said she always knew she’d adopt. The actress and her husband Josh Kelley have two adopted daughters: 8-year-old Naleigh, who was adopted in 2009 from South Korea, and 4-year-old Adalaide, who was adopted in 2012 in the U.S. Heigl gave birth to a baby boy, Joshua Bishop, this year and told People that she “actually prefers the adoption way.”

Nicole Kidman has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise: Bella Cruise, 23, and Connor Cruise, 21. In an interview about her new film Lion, where Kidman plays an adoptive mother, she told Vanity Fair, “It’s not about anything else other than, ‘I wanted you.’”
