Mary Katrantzou’s latest collection for Adidas Originals is a dream come true

After a successful first run last year, Mary Katrantzou and Adidas Originals team up for another technicolour athletics collection. Judging from the lookbook, it’s once again print-tastic. Track shoes from the ‘70s and ‘80s may have been her inspirational launch pad last time, but for her second round, the Brit-based designer looked to the tennis courts (and probably raves) for this summer-ready edition. Digitizing the symbols found in her Fall 2014 collection, Katrantzou infuses cartoon-like drawings of sports equipment in the print, while maintaining Originals’ iconic stripes throughout.

The vibrantly coloured collection features a range of your [insert sport] practice must-haves. Amidst the techy-printed T-shirts and statement sneakers, we’ve got our eyes on the flirty tennis inspired-dresses and eccentric-meets-retro-chic tracksuits. Did we mention poolside pieces like slides and a swimsuit are available as well? Honestly, we won’t be surprised if you’re inspired to pick up a racket for a quick game of tennis or go for a power walk at the shopping mall after scrolling through this gallery.

The 25-piece capsule collection will be available exclusively at Toronto and Vancouver The Room locations, as well as on thebay.com as of this Friday, July 24th. We suggest you to pencil it into your calendars, stat, because this is one collab you really don’t want to miss.
